Beatlemania Concert Pictures!

All of the primary children performed fabulously at both the afternoon and evening concerts on Thursday!  Below are some pictures of our class anxiously waiting to go onstage and then of course, during their performance of Twist and Shout.  I apologize that the pictures do not show all of the children who were actually performing...  

Beatlemania Concert Reminder for Thursday!!

Please remember that your child has been asked to wear a blue shirt and dark pants tomorrow for our Beatlemania concert!  The afternoon concert is at 1:00 and the evening performance is at 6:30.  Please bring your child down to our classroom at 6:00 in the evening and pick them up from the classroom afterwards (at about 7:30).  This way we can ensure all children are accounted for.

Our Budding Artists!

The children worked hard honing their blossoming art skills in creating these lovely pastel/watercolour paintings.

Parent/Teacher Interviews -- March 4th

Students will be dismissed early (at 2:00) on Wednesday March 4th to help accommodate parent/teacher interviews. It is not necessary for all parents to come for an interview this term.  I will be sending home a letter with your child on Monday with more details and information. Thanks for your ongoing support!

Newton in a Nutshell -- Our Force & Motion Workshop!

 On Friday, the children had a terrific time learning about force and motion during a hands-on workshop in our classroom!  They experimented with gravity, centripetal force, friction, and magnetism in a fun and engaging session.
