Easter Eggs for Easter!

Please mark your calendars! We'll be dyeing eggs next Wednesday. Please send two hard-boiled eggs wrapped in paper towel, placed in a plastic container (ie. yogurt, margarine) with your child next Wednesday April 1st for this project. Thank you!

Welcome Back Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing spring break!  The children are happily settling back into our classroom routines and they are excited about this next and final term of grade one!  I will be posting information about upcoming dates and activities soon.  Stay tuned! 

Twin Day!

100's Day!

The children did lots of activities today for their one hundredth day of grade one.  One of their favourite activities was probably when they made a 100 piece fruit loop necklace! 

Force and Motion!

To culminate our force and motion unit, the children made their own paper airplanes and we took them out to the gravel field to try them out! They made their planes as aerodynamic as possible to reduce drag (friction)!
