Grouping the Foods We Eat!

Our grade ones had lots of fun working together cutting and gluing food pictures into the four food groups: fruits and vegetables, grains, milk and alternatives and meat and alternatives. As you can see from the photos, the children were really engaged with the process!

Our bean seeds are becoming plants!!

Most of our class' bean seeds have germinated now and they are happily growing into healthy little plants!

Cartoon 'Baby Birds!'

The children had fun drawing their cartoon style baby birds last week! Every bird turned out as unique as each of the artists.  Together they make an adorable and colourful flock!
